Getting started

The ArcheAge Origins launcher is the supported way to sign in, keep the ArcheAge r208022 client current, and play on this AAEmu-based server.

This product is pre-release. Expect changes to the launcher UI, managed client content, and server behavior. Prefer the latest launcher from your team’s release channel.

What you need

1. A supported OS install of the launcher (Linux or Windows).
2. A verified ArcheAge r208022 client directory (the folder that contains bin32/archeage.exe).
3. Network access to the launcher API at launcher.hyprlane.dev.

You do not need a separate registration page. Account creation is handled at first login (see below).

Where to get the launcher

Download the current release archive from ArcheAge Origins Launcher v0.3.5:

• Linux: aaemu-launcher-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
• Windows: aaemu-launcher-windows-i686.zip

The repository is private. If you are not a GitHub collaborator, get the archive from your team instead of relying on a public Releases URL.

Upgrading from a version before v0.3.4 starts a fresh ArcheAge Origins launcher profile. Sign in again, select your existing client folder, and set your launcher preferences again. On Linux, select a Steam-installed Proton; the launcher prepares a new managed prefix. You can reuse your game files. Version 0.3.5 uses the existing ArcheAge Origins profile. See What’s new.

Accounts

With AutoAccount enabled on the login service:

• The first successful login for a new valid username creates that account and sets its password.
• A later wrong password for an existing username fails. No credential is retained on a failed attempt.

There is no in-launcher account-registration UI. Use Login with the username and password you want.

Client download

If you do not have a client yet, the launcher can open the documented supported-r208022 download link (a MEGA share) in your operating-system browser. Use Select game folder after the download finishes, and point it at the client root that contains bin32/archeage.exe.

Prefer the in-launcher link when available; a release build may override the URL.

Next steps

1. Install the launcher for your OS.
2. Sign in on first run.
3. Select your client root (and Proton on Linux) under Installation settings.
4. Use Update / Repair until the launcher shows Play, then play.
