Install on Windows

Native Windows launcher for ArcheAge Origins (32-bit / i686 archive to match the client).

  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime. Windows 11 and current Windows 10 installs normally include it.
  • A verified ArcheAge r208022 client directory (contains bin32/archeage.exe).

Retained sign-in uses Windows Credential Manager.

  1. Get aaemu-launcher-windows-i686.zip from ArcheAge Origins Launcher v0.3.5 (or from your team).

  2. Before extracting, calculate the archive’s SHA-256 in PowerShell:

    Terminal window
    Get-FileHash .\aaemu-launcher-windows-i686.zip -Algorithm SHA256

Compare it with the sha256 for the matching filename in the release’s manifest.json, or ask your team for the matching release hash.

  3. Extract into one directory. Keep both files together:

    • aaemu-launcher.exe
    • aaemu-launcher-updater.exe
  4. Run aaemu-launcher.exe.

The launcher binary has no Windows code signature. Windows SmartScreen may block the first run. Choose More info → Run anyway.

  1. Sign in (see Getting started for AutoAccount behavior).
  2. Select the client root (directory that contains bin32/archeage.exe) under Installation settings.

If you still need the client itself, use the launcher’s supported-r208022 download link (opens MEGA in your browser). Details: Getting started.

Version 0.3.5 adds recovery for interrupted launcher updates and uses your existing ArcheAge Origins profile. Recovery applies to updates that run the 0.3.5 helper; the update from an older version still uses its older helper.

If you are upgrading from a version before 0.3.4, the rebrand starts a fresh launcher profile. Sign in again, select your existing client folder, and set any custom launcher preferences again. The first client check hashes the files again; your existing game installation can be reused.

If you install the archive manually, close the previous launcher before starting v0.3.5.
